45th National Day Photo Competition - National Day Heartland Celebrations @ South West District

**In conjunction with National Day Heartland Celebrations @ South West District**


RULES & REGULATIONS

1. The competition is open to all residing in Singapore.

2. There is no limit to the number of entries submitted by any single participant but each participant is eligible to win one prize (excluding Special Prize).

3. Composite photographs, multiple exposures and images manipulated electronically that distort the reality of the image or otherwise will be disqualified. Adjustments of contrast, saturation or levels are acceptable.

4. Entries can be in colour or monochrome and they must be of 8R or Super 8R size. Entries should not be mounted.

5. A CD-Rom that contains all entries and a copyof participant's passport size photo must be submitted together with the entryforms and prints. Digital images must be saved in JPEG format with minimal compression and its image size should not be less than 3000 pixels on the longer side.

6. Entries will be judged based on originality, creativity, and relevance to the theme and photographic techniques.

7. Photographs must be taken within South West District.

8. Entries submitted must be the original work of the participants and they must own the sole right of the photographs.

9. Entry form must be pasted on the back of each print.

10. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not adhereto the rules and regulations of the competition.

11. All entries including CD-Rom will not be returned.

12. The Organiser reserves the right to reproduce the images submitted for publicity, catalogue and exhibition purposes, without payment of any fees to the participant.

13. All prize winners will be notified by post, phone and email.

14. The closing date is 13th September 2010. Late entries will not be entertained.

15. All entries accompanied by CD-Rom must be properly wrapped and delivered to the following collecting Centres:
